Accommodation in Antola
Your accommodation for this walking holiday is a villa built at the beginning of the 1900s, surrounded the natural park of Antola, inside a small village to 1000 mt.
The villa has 3 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms and can accommodate up to 6 people. From your window you see the monte Antola – symbol of the Park and the lake Del Brugneto. Each room is decorated in an art nouveau style. A hairdryer, toiletries, linen and towels are present in each bedroom. Free WiFi is available throughout the house.
We are 10 min. drive from the largest town in the area – Torriglia. Our property offers mtb rental and a room equipped for those who come with their own mtb.
Walking in Antola
There are many walks available in the National Park of Antola. All the routes are designed for anyone in good health. All the routes can be varied, as you wish, to make them shorter, longer or harder. We have a shuttle for re-entry after the walk.
Antola walking holiday itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival in the afternoon.
Day 2 – You walk about 500 meters from the villa and then take a path that will take you to the beginning of the ring of Lake Brugneto. It is a dam built in 1959 to provide clean water in Genoa. 14 km ring surrounding the reservoir he trail leads through chestnut and oak trees, you feel like you are in the forest of Robin Hood with romantic corners and scenic spots of the lake.
Day 3 – Departing Villa Tiffany you walk about 2 km on asphalt road overlooking the Valley with Torriglia and the sea on the background. An old stone Chapel marks the beginning of a path that will take you to the top to reach the Monte Antola. Aong the way you will admire stunning views of the Lake in beech woods and when you reach the top you will see the Alps (the Monviso and Monte Rosa), the Piedmontese plain beneath our feet, and the sea. On a clear day you can even glimpse at Corsica. You can have a lunch at the hut, then set off and arrive at Casa Del Romano, where the shuttle will pick you up and take you back to Villa Tiffany.
Day 4 – Departing Villa Tiffany you have a 1-hour drive to the village of Vobbia. From there you take a trail to the Castle of Stone. About 2 hours later you will arrive at the Castle, an ancient fortress of 400s, unique in the world for how it was built. Lunch will be served then in a typical trattoria, to then go and visit a farm producing local products of roses, and producers of typical biscuit of Torriglia “canestrello”. Then you will return to Villa Tiffany.
Day 5 – Departure day

The price for this self-guided walking holiday is €620.- for 2 people on full board basis. The holiday is available all year round, subject to accommodation availability.
